Question about the create index function in CD3

in Mapping with ProFantasy's Software
I would like to know if it is possible to change or control some of the setting used when the too creates the index.

The space in the Label side is insufficient sometimes if your labels are a little long they overwrite the map coordinates.

Also in a multi column index I would like to change the space between the columns if possible.

I had thought it a macro but couldn't find it there when I looked.

    I too would like more control over thi index. Sometimes it sets 2 columns where I have only specified 1

    The amount of direct control over the index from within the command is limited, but you can always change things afterwards. "Unlock" groups to make all the different pieces of the index editable on their own. From the View menu "Show Hyperlinks" to make all the links visible too, so you don't miss them when moving stuff.

    Change Text Properties to make the text fit into the column - this is always tricky with True Type Fonts, as their size will vary somewhat with zoom level.
    It should also allow you to simply select the column with the coordinates and move it to the right in one go.

    @qwalker: This should not be happening, when you use the command make sure to type in the correct column number. If it still happens it is a bug, can you reproduce it?

    Thank you very much that will work fine. I hadn't thought of that although I did notice from using the List command that there was grouping.
