Help request: Can't select polygon

in Mapping with ProFantasy's Software
I am playing around with CC3 trying to get more familiar with it. I created a polygon filled with mixed forest and have decided I want to delete it. I can't get it selected though! I have tried hiding all of the other layers and putting the box all the way around it with the delete command, but it still wont' select it. I also can't select it using any other command (e.g. edit properties). The part of the map with the issue is attached.
