Road dash frequency

Hey all! Trying to make some roads and I can adjust their color and thickness, but what I really want to change is the frequency or density of the dashes. No idea how to do that.

In other words,instead of;

_________ _________ ___________

I'd like

__ __ __ __ __ __

Can't find any setting for that. Help?

Click the line style indicator on the status bar, and hit new. Here you can define a new line style with the exact length and spacing you want. The dialog can be a little bit tricky, so I recommend you click the help button to read up a little bit on the topic, and do some experimentation (Hint: The line looks VERY different if paper scale is enabled versus not enabled)

Zooming in and out can make some of the lines show different spacing to.
