Is there a way to check the map dimensions?

I'm trying to get the exact dimensions that my current map is and I can't find any way of checking it other than using the distance tool which isn't exact since it might bend a bit.

Is there any way to check this in a sort of properties menu?

    Use the distance tool combined with the modifiers. I usually measure along the map border, and use the Endpoint modifier (intersection modifier is also usable) to ensure that the measurement is precise. Another alternative is to have 'snap to grid' turned on when measuring, since most maps are normally a multiple of the editing grid size.
