How do you add background bitmaps to the selection?

I'm trying to add a bitmap from one of the Annuals packs to my default CC3 Overland selection. I placed the files in ProFantasy\CC3\Bitmaps\Tiles\Overland

I can't seem to get them to show up when making a new map and choosing the background though. Nor can I change them using the change properties option. Did I do something wrong? Is it possible to do what I want?

    The fill styles available for selection during map creations are based on the fill styles registered in the map template, not the files in the folder. The same goes for the available options in the Change Properties dialog. Use Tools -> Import bitmap fill styles to import a new fill style into your map.
    You can also edit the actual template used and import the fill style into that, then new maps based on this template will also have the fill style available in the new map wizard dropdown.
