Reinstallation time
Sadly, it has come to the point where I'm need to uninstall CC3 and do a complete new instal
1. Symbol system plain doesn't work - in the symbols manager, if I set the filters to * to find all catalogs, most of them are blank (got the catalog name, just nothing)
2. Some of the later HQ symbols do not print - they appear fine on the screen, just not on the paper. Workaround is to explode those symbols, then they do print.
3. Redraw don't seem to work - tried RDOFF and RDON to no avail. Means I have to manually click the Redraw button.
4. If I Copy/Cut some entities from a sheet in one drawing, and paste into another drawing, then ALL of the entities on the sheet get copied over - makes it almost impossible whe you are copying from a very large sheet.
5. When I trim to another entity, sometimes I end up with an entity which is correct for the trim but is a copy, ie the original entity does not get removed and I end up with a trimmed one plus an untrimmed one - even after a manual redraw.
Annoyances (yes, they are 'features', but I thought I'd take the opportunity
)
6. trimming entities often trims to the opposite side to where I want them - I'd like to point out never had this problem on CC2
7. Symbols (again) - clicking the button to cycle through catalogs keeps bringing up the wretched sysmbol manager asking for a catalog - which become very difficult bearing mind 1. above. All I want to do is cycle through the catalogs (again as in CC2)
Would like:
8. Sometimes, and I don't know how, I end up with say three absolutely identical entities in identical position and orientation - would be useful if there was a way to delete all but one copy
I'm sure there are others, but the upshot is that I can't really use CC3 properly any more. Hence the big reinstal
