All Quiet on the Martian Front.... a map & TOE project
About 6 or more months ago I finished a project for Alien Dungeon/Robot Peanuts for their soon to be released game called "All Quiet on the Martian Front". It's based on H.G. Wells "War of the World" story except the Martians come back in 1910. See http://www.architectsofwar.com/allquietonthemartianfront.aspx for more details & pre-orders. It's a great game & easy to play with a world class design team behind it. And just for fun I thought I might share with you a different style I designed for it & some illustrations in it that were done in CC3. It also proves that CC3 isn't just for fantasy gaming as some have argued, but also for historical & historically based games as well. Comment away my friends. Also there are some more pictures at my website: https://sites.google.com/site/vikingjarl/
BTW a TOE is a military abbreviation for "Table of Organization & Equipment" which is a usually graphic way of showing the structure of a unit.

Thank you Ralf. I considered that, but was attempting to copy the style a 1908 map I found. Plus when rendering the pieced rivers for an experiment It came out obviously segmented rather than smooth so I stuck with the original even style. Not sure why it failed other than perhaps the huge drawing size required for the publisher or perhaps because of the glow effect I was using on the River sheet. My method was to draw the original river path, split it & resize the splits. Any thoughts?
