A few questions on starting with Cosmographer
I recently purchased cosmographer 3, and watched Joe Sweeney's tutorials, but I have some questions.
I was just wondering if there was a way to just have a blank white page? I want to do a starship deckplan with cosmographer but I don't really like any of the templates. For example, The product from Storyweaver games The firelight battle maps (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/105158/HighSpace-Battlemaps-Firelight-Scout-Ship) looks like it came from this program. The background is nice and clean white, I assume the legends were probably added later with PS or some other program. Is there a way to do this? (well obviously there is a way, but perhaps I'm not seeing it?)
also the product has the ships split up into tiles, is this a feature of CC3 or COS3? or is this probably some further manipulation?
thanks!

You can add a map legend in easily into CC3 by using the text tool.
The July 2012 Annual will be of use to you as it dealt with making battle tiles for a starship.

It does have downloadable video tutorials for it.
Also download the free Battle Tiles Special Issue and the videos for it.

This will help when you with the starship ones.
Joe has a couple of other tutorials on his YouTube channel that you may find helpful if you haven't seen them.
Hope that helps.
Printing to multiple tiles is a basic feature of CC3. You'll find the option on the print dialog when printing your map.
I'm still a bit of a noob at this.
