How do I change default altitude colours in Fractal Terrains 3?

How can I change the default altitude colour scheme in FT3? Every time I reload my world map it reverts to the existing default scheme, so every time I have to load the one I want, again. I even tried renaming my preferred LGT file "default" in the FT3 folder, but that didn't seem to make any difference! Odd there's no option to set the default colours. Is there any way of changing the default altitude colour scheme, this is very annoying for me.

FT should be saving the color scheme as part of the FTW file and it should be automatically reloading with the map.

Try running FT3 "as admin": Right-click the FT3 shortcut on the desktop, choose "Properties" and on the "Compatibilty" tab choose "Always run as Administrator". Does that help?

Ok that works - but it's pretty poor having to run an ordinary piece of software as Admin, just to get basic functionality. Very poor.
