How do I erase these grid lines?

Hello everyone. I am making new maps and seem to always have these large grids over them. How do I remove them? Thanks!

EDIT: Never mind again. I think it is just part of the template that I used. Wish there were a way to delete posts. My last two were posted prematurely being that I found the answers myself. SOrry for wasting your pixels

Don't worry about it, I think I have done the same thing at least six time.

The grid layer is typically frozen in a template. So just select the grid layer, freeze and hide everything else in the layer dialog. Click Okay. Only thing left showing, and available ofr deleting, is the grid.
