Creating a CC3 map with Fractal Terrains questions

I would like to create a map using a Fractal Terrains world I created. I have a couple of question on what is the best export settings to use for CC3 and see if there is any examples on what others have done doing this.

I often export just the coastlines, because I think FT does them really well. You can then give them the full CC3 treatment if you so desire. Or not, as here:

I have continents, islands, hemispheres, and entire worlds I've made using FT3.

Crestar has over 2000 surface maps, about 300 of them an export from FT3. My Traveller[tm] site has over 500 Cosmographer template/world exports from FT3.

My Myirandios world was an export from FT3. (see show and tell category). I found it invaluable, and it saved a lot of time in mapping out an entire world from scratch. I also edited the FT world prior to exporting it using the tools section. I strongly recommend the tutorial at http://www.ridgenet.net/~jslayton/CGTutorial/index written by jslayton.
