Getting the right size of map.

Hey, I am new to CC3 and was wanting some advice on the right size of map to create. I am wanting to create a board game map that I will print onto a game board. The game board is going to be 30inx20in. What size of map should I create in CC3 to best accommodate that size of a print? Thanks.

CC3 happily scales the size to anything at the time of printing, so the general advice when it comes to CC3 is to scale it according to the real-world size of the elements on the map. So if the map is designed to illustrate a country that is 6000 by 4000 miles, set the size of the map to that when creating it (use a size that has the same aspect ratio as your desired printout though, i.e 1.5:1)
If the map don't have any specified scale, give it your best guess. Note that most effects are by default set up for a medium-sized map, so I probably wouldn't have picked 30x20 as the size. Although this is a fine value, it would probably lead to a lot more tweaking of the default effects later.
