Carrying map details across mutiple scale maps

Just started back into Fractal Terrains and saw a tutorial about exporting multiple map scales to Campaign Cartographer. In the tutorial, Joe Sweeney talked about mapping scales. I am wondering, if I map a road or river or some other terrain to a map at one scale, does it scale to the other scales?

Example to clear up what I am trying to describe: If I lay down a series of mountains at the smallest scale then go to the next higher scale, do the mountains carry over? Or would I have to map the same things at lots of scales and hope they roughly match up?

Thanks!

If you copy symbols, rivers, etc. over from one map scale to the other, they'll keep their scale - because it's based on CC3's internal scale. For example, a 2 drawing unit wide river will still be 2 drawing units wide in a smaller area map. That means of course, it will look wider. It's easy to change though, just adjust the line width of all rivers after copying them over, or scale the symbols in the map.

    Hope that helps.
