Yod's Monastery [WIP]
Hi,
My series of 3D cardboard buildings is enlarged by Yod's Monastery complex for my Conan RPG campaign.
On the first picture below, you can see, from left to right and from front to back: the factory (producing secret material), the temple with its particular dome and minarets and the largest building housing the library (the large square tower) and the monks dormitory.
To get an idea of the scale (suited for 28mm miniatures), the ground background is 60cm by 60 cm (about 2'x2') and supported by a aluminium plate raised by about 20 cm (8") from my kitchen table, thus allowing players to keep their character sheets, dices and drinks under the display (see last picture).
The whole project uses only SS2A fill styles.
What you see here is the result of 3 months of work. I still need to build the walls surrounding the complex, the nearby village and the cemetary.
Many thanks to friend Joachim of Ravenbel for his assitance especially since CC3 lacks a langage setting option for non-english users.
Comments and feedback welcome. Thank you.

But I also love your setup, so you can have your miniatures cover the entire area of the playing table and still use it for playing. Beautiful, functional, and ... well, functional again!
Cheers!
