Can you create cliffs in CC3?

I am seriously considering buying the CC3 bundle but as part of a major map project I am planning I need to be able to create cliffs both as part of a coastline and inland. Is it possible to do this in CC3? Sorry if this seems a dum question but I have not been able to find an answer on the website or seen any in any of the sample maps.

It's definitely possible, but how to do it and the difficulty of doing it will vary greatly with what map style you will employ, and how you want these cliffs to look visually.
