How to take screenshots of my maps

I've made some maps, and I've figured out how to save them as jpeg files so I can upload them to photobucket or post them in my blog etc in their entirety. But I'm a bit lost on how to capture a screenshot of a zoomed in portion of a map for this purpose.

    Have you tried File>>Save As with Rectangular Section BMP (or Rectangular Section JPEG or Rectangular Section PNG) as the file type? This action should let you select a section of the map to save. Clicking Options on the Save As dialog will let you set the file size to save.

    You could also (because you used the word "screenshot") zoom into the area of interest and use the Print Screen key on your keyboard to save a copy of the desktop to the clipboard and paste it into software such as MS Paint for cropping.
