Once you have created a map is there any way to change the color of the Sea and also the Land mass. I created them too dark.

Yes. Simply use the Change Properties command on the entities. This allow you to select a new fill style for them.
  • I have tried to click on Change Properties for both the Sea and also the Land Mass, and nothing happens. I have tried doing about everything I can do. I want to get rid of the colors in these two areas while maintaining the outline of the landmass. Any other suggestions than "simply use the change properties." Or even more detail about how to do this. I have used the Change Properties many times, but I can not get it to work with the sea (background) and the landmass itself.

You say nothing happens. Are you able to select the landmass at all? If not, make sure it is not on a frozen layer.

Also, when you try to change the color, are you changing the color or the fill style in the dialog? If you are using bitmap fills, you need to change the selected fill style, since the active color isn't seen when you use a bitmap fill style. Usually, the color will mainly only be used if the fill style is set to "Solid".

To avoid changing the outline, you need to ensure you don't include it in the selection. This is usually easies done by using the Not selection modifier, and setting it to color 0 (Black) since this is usually the color of the outline.
