Cannot delete overlapping terrain
I've been experimenting with CC3 for about a week now, and I've run into a problem for which I cannot find a solution. In short, I have placed a desert upon an island which was supposed to reach the shoreline. However, I either failed to use, or just did not fully understand the use of the point-attachment features (i.e. Intersect, Perpendicular, Endpoint etc).
What I wound up with was a desert which overlaps the coast in numerous locations, and does not conform to the shore of the island. This looks awful, and I attempted to delete the desert. However, herein lies the problem: I cannot delete the desert without deleting the entire island. I saved the map, thinking to come back to it later, so I can't simply Undo the desert. It seems that the inability to delete land features would be a blaring oversight, so there MUST be a way to do it, I simply can't find it.
Anyone else have a similar problem?
