FT Pro: North Pole and the Shade When Generating a World
Ok, I am not sure what the north pole is doing, is it the north axis or is it the magnetic north pole? Also, just about whenever I put in data to generate a map using the "world settings", it makes the map but then the map puts in a lot of shade for no apparent reason,I'm wondering why it is doing this, I think it is having to do with the circumference of the world I generate, but I'm not sure.
Any help with BOTH of these issues would be very helpful!

If you'd like to turn off shading, use Map>>Lighting and Color, select the Intensity tab and move the Shadows slider to None. The shading is there to provide a sense of the local topography. It has no particular relation to the circumference of the worlds you generate.
