FT -> CC3, Export Question

In FT3, I've made a wonderful, beautiful world with lots of rich coloring and vibrant details using an image climate map. When I export it to CC3 in any possible format to edit, it all goes away - becoming only an altitude, or temperature, or whatever else map. If I export as a Cosmographer Template, it works beautifully - but does it in that wonky Cosmographer way, with the image all wonk-ified. (I've tried exporting as a bmp - it either wonks out and shows me a mesh of altitude and temperature, or won't open in CC3 at all).

I really just want to take the image I see in FT and transfer it either directly, or in broken pieces into CC3 so that I can manipulate it *as it is*. Is there any way to do this?

    The image climate information in FT (and most of the shaders, including the shadow parts) are purely image features, not vector features. As such, they won't export into CC3. You can save them as image files using File>>Save As (for BMP, JPEG, or PNG files) and then import them into CC3 as a bitmap. Once in CC3, I'm not sure what sort of manipulations you can do other than adding things like symbols and text.
