Askalon - Midgard overland style edited

Might not look like the midgard style at first , because I used transparancy on the grassland types.
I'm not 100% happy with the snow on the mountains but I don't have more time right now.

I like the form of the islands, and I really like the structure of the mountains. But otherwise the map is a bit... 'bare' without grass or coastline. Now it looks like the bare rock sticking out of the sea.

Not really my style.
But if you want to map a realy bare, cold, weather beaten piece of land, this is the style to go.

That was not quite the idea, so I have some work to do !

Still need to add more but now the green colors are clearer at least.
