  Horns could be significantly longer. They look kinda short. 4 to 7 feet for one horn would be truer.

  Excellent. You could even make an unbranded version and then a number of different brands to add to each cow.

  Some brands came from blacksmith made irons. Some were made with what were called running irons. Running irons were also used by rustlers to alter registered brands. Yes, each area; county or region; or a cattlemens' association; had a brand register and a book of drawings held at the county seat.
