Grids for world map

For a conquest styled campaign I am working on a set of test world maps with grids to mark territories, I was wondering if there was a way to keep me from selecting and moving the grid while I'm trying to select and move objects.

    Hi Alirode,

Welcome to the forum. There are a couple of ways you can keep from selecting the grid while you work.
    1. Open the Select Layer dialog box. An easy way to do this is by left-clicking the box at the top of the screen that contains L: LAYERNAME.
    2. Find the HEX/SQUARE GRID layer in the list of layers. There are three boxes next to the layer name. Do the following, depending on the result you want:
      • To hide the grid, click the center box. An H will display in the box.
      • To freeze the grid, so you can't select it or make changes to it, click the third, right-most box. An F will display in the box.
      • To do both, click both boxes.
    3. Click OK to close the dialog box.
    I hope that helps!
