I have occasionally seen used copies on Ebay. I know the software is validated through the internet. If one buys a used copy that someone else has owned, will the 2nd owner be able to use CC3?

I would not trust it. Better to buy directly from ProFantasy. But lets see what the personel from PF have to say about it. They always look trhe foruns.

The short version: Yes, you can sell/buy used copies, but only if we are notified and can properly transfer the license.

Note that you cannot legally sell older versions and continue using your upgraded software. For example if you had FT Pro and upgraded to FT3, you can't (naturally) sell your FT Pro and continue using FT3.
