Dual Screen usage

Hi did a search of the forum but could find nothing obvious.

Is it possible to use a Dual screen configuration when using CC3 to increase screen real estate

CC3 works poorly with respect to dual screens. You can of course maximize the window across both screens, but this ends up with the map being split down the middle, and all dialogs appearing in the exact middle, split between the screens (At least if you have the same resolution on both screens).

What I have done in the past however is to add enough columns to the symbol catalog window, so that basically one of my screens are filled with the symbol catalog window, and the other with my map. This doesn't give much more mapping space, but it makes the symbols easily available.
Also remember that you can run multiple instances of CC3, making dual screens really useful when you are copying entities between maps.
  • Thanks Monsen I had suspected that to be the case. I only asked because I have used a couple of different CAD systems in my past which used multi screens
