How do you make a new floor fill?

I'm interested to know if anybody can tell me an easy way to create a new floor fill. I want to create some mosaic looking floors and I'm not seeing anything like it online that I like. So what kind of art can I use, what file format, how do I load it into DD3? any special resolution? ect

Any help would be great.

I have not done this myself yet, but I would consider looking in the Tome of Ultimate Mapping. My guess is those answers are in there. In regards to what images to use, pick an image that can be tiled. You do not want to see edge lines as the tiles fills in.

All fills should be tileable png files. I don't remember the exact resolutions required off hand, but CC3 can import any resolution and automatically create files of the correct resolution.

The colors might be a bit too bright. I used a RGBmatrix "dull" effect on the sheet when using them :

Note : the inside floor is not a fill style...
