Am I able to do this?
I am mapping with one of the annuals. I like one of the terrain bitmap fills. All of the fills happen to be rounded objects (if that is what you call them) as opposed to fractal objects. I would prefer to create a fractal shape that is filled with one of these style bit maps that IO am working with. Can I do that? if so, how? if I can use a polygon maybe that would work too. I just have no idea how to fill them with the bitmap image.

Right-click on the "default terrain" button, and then hit "Advanced". From there scroll down the list to find the terrain fill you want to use. I suggest clicking "New" when you do so in order to preserve the original smooth path style. From there look for a drop down menu labelled "Draw Method" (it should be in the top centre of the screen) and select Fractal. Then click on options to the right to tweak the extent of the fractalisation the terrain fill will use.
- Right-click the All Drawing Tools button.
- Click "Advanced"
- Locate and click the tool you want to change into a fractal version.
- From the "Draw method" dropdown box choose "Fractal". Under "Optios" set the details of the fractalization to use.
- "Save" the drawing tool.
If you want to preserve the original make a copy of the original first, using the "New" button after you've selected it.
Hope that helps.
