Sea Monsters

You know, there just are not enough sea monsters out there. I looked and only saw crap on Google. A bunch of tribe style images that do not make me give a second look. I like those old time serpents that have several humps in the water or even giant squids fighting with wooden ships. I even like sperm whales that have a spout above them or are fighting squid. Any have any of this stuff?

Okay, I was intrigued by your frustration with Google so I thought I'd see what sorts of things did turn up if it wasn't going to return the stuff we wanted. Got some nice maps, at least — including many with fantastic monsters along the frontiers — but, yeah, nothing really usable without a bunch of work. However, I did stumble across a neat little article and "slide show" about map monsters. I thought I'd share.

Yeah. Of course, I spent too much time LOOKING for it, so I haven't had time to do much more than skim the beginning. I'm looking forward to reading it myself! Ha ha.
