CA20 terrain layer problem
Hi!
I started a BW Vectormap using the wizard from Annual 20. When I draw a terrain area the drawing tool puts the fill on the
landfeatures and the outline on the land layer. In the Annual 20 effects preset the land layer has a glow effect.
That results in a glowy outline like this http://i.imgur.com/lKaJz.png
Also when I activate the effects the first time, it tells me that some layers are missing. Is there something wrong with the
drawing tool and/or the wizard?
When I inspect the examplemap from Annual 20 I can't find these problems.
cheers,

First time I turn the effects on there was no prblem, but no default style was selected.
Then when I selected the effects style myself (Annual overland BW 100x800) I got the message that there were sheets missing.
Guess its a fault in the style.
Making a great artist doesn't alway make one good programmer.
Found a few more errors like this one in onther annuals.
Not really a problem, you learn to work with and around them.
Bummer, I really started to like that style
All I want is to make the trees not appear on the SYMBOLS sheet. Can't be too hard?!?
Now I copied the drawingtool and changed the Macro-Command to:
SELSAVE
SELBYP
FORESTLOAD #system\Fillers\Annual\CA20_Forest.fil
FOREST
MOVESHT LAND
SELREST
This does the job the first time i use it. When i use the forrest the next time it draws on
SYMBOLS again.
I definitely cant work like that with trees on the same sheet as the structures
- Create a new sheet SYMBOLS FORESTS (or similar) and move it to the position you want your trees to be in the sheet list
- use "Move to SHeet", select by layer "VEGETATION" AND entity type "Symbol Reference, Do It, place on the new sheet.
To make all the symbols in the map go their automatically, open the Symbol Manager, select all the forest symbols (they start with "C20 Tool...") and click Options. Set "Force Sheet" to SYMBOLS FORESTS.
If you want to do this for all future maps, you have to do the same in the forest symbol catalog. You'll find it under CC3/System/Fillers/Annual/CA20_Forest.FSC
Hope that helps.
