Magelo and CC3

I have decided to get a paid acocunt at Magelo so I can do more with my Everquest accounts. One of the things I can do with a premium account is create my own backgrounds.

So, I was looking at Annual 1/2011 Overland Perspectives. The center has to be mostly empty so it is easy to see character information. This one isn't exactly empty in the center.

The pyramid doesn't really belong... I'm just trying out this Annual for making Magelo account backgrounds.

Jim P! I saw Magelo and then I read Everquest! Only EQ players are true mmo players! lol ! Eronakis 80 wizard rathe 2500 aa lol if I remember right. Played since the Velious expansion. What server are you on what class?

I'm on all the blue servers. Over 150 characters on 3 paid, 1 silver, and 1 bronze account. But we shouldn't disucss EQ here.

Oh, EQ good old times, ... started with first set, played through Kunark to Vellious, stopped playing right before the Planes of Power came in. But yeah, i played several MMOs after EQ but never had anymore the same feeling as with EQ. Tunare server, then moved to EU server, Antonious Bale, with Tide guild.

I think they look fine. They appear to match the style fairly well. Is that the same symbol, resized? Because if so, the effect it provides works nicely.

Cool. I didn't realize that issue of the Annual included scale suggestions for moving symbols along the Y-Axis. That's awesome. Although I have the Annual, I haven't played with that issue yet. As "plain" as it is (and "plane" too, I guess!) I really like what you've done with it. I think the idea of using it as wallpaper/background is great.

The template has a square grid. Along the right side, in the mapping area, are labels on the lines. 0.9 scale, 0.7 scale, etc. I had to keep the last and middle fairly clear as the Magelo listed character information is on top of it. Well, not listed, small drawings of the items shown. So a chest item would be the armor. Gloves on the hands, etc.
