  Yes, they have a wealth of good information there on a variety of map topics. But, I'm still struggling to find good info that explains the logic of the landscape of a desert environment (and its surrounding areas). Most maps simply depict deserts as a sandy blob, but If my campaign is centered in that blob, I want to try and get some more accurate details about whats going on in and around there.
  
  Lately, I've been looking at real world maps of the Gobi desert (Mongolia) and Danakil desert (Ethiopia) for inspiration.
