This is a setting for viking-age adventures with barbarians, witched, trolls and the like. Only the few sizeable towns are shown, communication between them being by boat. Rivers are in general navigable as far as
the hills, but after that you walk. The exception is the river-route to Ogreshof, which is navigable all the way if you've got good strong oarsmen. The location of Perlin is somewhat conjectural - while mysterious tales about it abound, no-one can be found who has actually been there.
The style is Fantasy Realms, but tweaked a bit for a more "northern" feel (I hope)

Good map.
Modric - the darker green blobs (both shades) are intended to represent forests, the lighter green, amoeba-like blobs are meant to represent hill areas. I was trying, not very successfully, to convey the rounded landforms you get in a post-glacial landscape.
Simon - I hope I understood your suggestion correctly, results below. A touch of blue fade to the mountains does seem to soften the edges nicely.
