Graticule, or latitude/Longitude mercator projection grid

Folks

Is it possible to construct a graticule grid, to display Latitude and Longitude for a mercator projection map in CC3? I need to produce some campaign and battle maps of the war at sea in WW1 and was hoping to use CC3.

Or do I need to produce the graticule to the correct scale seeprately, and then overlay in Illustrator or photoshop?

As far as I know, you cannot do this automatically in CC3 (Automatic grids only support square and hex grids). You should be able to create it manually by simply using the line tool however (then optionally group the lines together).

I would recommend creating it inside CC3, and not an external program, since you can then place it on a separate layer and show/hide it as required, and have it properly placed no matter the export resolution you choose.
