large parchment background behind imported FT map in CC3
(totally new to all this)
I purchased the world builder bundle. I've created a map in FT that is what I want, so I took it over to CC3.
Once in CC3 I have a very large parchment image (6MP) that I want to use as the background showing through.
It's not working as I expected. I changed the fill to be a new parchment bitmap. Then I began erasing the ocean contours.
Instead of filling with alpha channel or the bitmap, it fills with a deep blue. Why is this?

When you export an FT3 map to CC3, there is a dark blue ocean entity covering the entire map area, basically representing the lowest ocean "contour". This acts as a background fill, with the various contours placed on top of it. If you placed your parchment bitmap behind everything, you will need to delete this deep blue polygon just as with the rest of the contours. (Or you may use an effect to make it partially transparent if you so desire.)
