This particular font has a sort of turn of the century (19th / 20th century) "Ouija Board" feel to it. That wasn't intentional but I can see where this font MIGHT be used in a Cthulu mythos based, H.P. Lovecraft inspired game settings - Hmmmmmm.....
Hey - hows this for a demo?:
GREATEST MEL BROOKS FILMS (In my opinion):
#1, Interview With The 1 Million Year Old Man (Brooks and Riener, Animated),
#2, Blazing Saddles,
#3, Young Frankenstein (arguably his best),
#4, High Anxiety,
#5, Sherlock Holmes's Smarter Brother,
#6, The Last Remake Of Beau Gest,
#7, The World's Greatest Lover.
I saw an old movie version of the game "CLUE" with a Truman Capote cameo in it, but I'm not sure if it was a Brooks film or not. If it is - I rank it at #8.
#9 (or8), History Of The World - Part 2.
#10, "The Producers" (Mel Brooks version - circa 1972 I believe). Who could forget "Springtime For Hitler", lol 1972 was an oddly good year for movie debuts - all kinds of great movies came out then. Must've been when Hollywood peaked, lol.
WORST BROOKS FILMS (Again - in my opinion):
#-1, Space Balls, (I remember seeing this travesty and thinking to myself "Mel - what the Hell happened - are you really this burned out?" Lol).
#-2, Silent Movie, (Brook's attempt at reviving the silent film genre with updated humor - it didn't seem to translate very well and the film was starkly painful to sit through - although it did have it's moments).
#-3, Dracula, Dead And Loving It, with Leslie Nielson (believe it or not - this was a Brooks film, it was co-produced by Mel). This movie was actually much better than Space Balls, although it still had a rather fat case of occassional lameness.
I believe that "The Man With Two Brains" starring Steve Martin was a Carl Riener film, but it's very "Brooksish" - and if your a Brooks fan - I strongly recommend it.
1. Interview with a 2000 Year Old Man, not 1 million. :P
6. The Last Remake Of Beau Gest was a Marty Feldman vehicle, and did not involve Mel Brooks. He was busy with High Anxiety at the time.
7. Also during the time Mel Brooks was involved with High Anxiety, this is a Gene Wilder film and did not involve Brooks.
8. The movie you're thinking of is Murder by Death, a Neil Simon movie.
9. History of the World, Part 1... not Part 2, :P
I would put Blazing Saddles #1, Young Frankenstein #2, The Producers #3. It's the movie buff in me.
