my map keeps disappearing

okay for some reason I'm getting this problem where I'll be doing some work on my map and then just randomly the whole thing will disappear and I'll be left with only a blank white screen in the view area or occasionally a green one. Usually I can just restart the thing and it will be back to normal but it doesn't seem to be working this time around. My map is just gone and I can't seem to find it in the screen. Can anyone help with this or tell me what's going on? Thanks

    Well I managed to find it by going into the sheets area and telling it to do something. Though I'd still like to know if anyone can tell me why it keeps disappearing like this or if they even know what I'm talking about.

    If fiddling with the sheets can make the map reappear, I'm guessing that the sheet with the background has been moved down the list -- so when the map redraws, everything gets covered with that background.

    So, if you hide that sheet, everything will appear. Or you can move that sheet further up the list.

    This could also happen if you copied the background rectangle to another sheet (that is similarly down the list).

    I've seen stuff like this happen also when someone draw a point or something far, far, from the rest of the map, then did a "zoom extents." the map was there, but CC3 had just zoomed so far out that the map was reduced to a point.

    If you want, you can post the map here and we can look at it. Someone likely can see the problem in a minute or two.
