I will post some update soon. I am working on the few gaps that the map still has. I will probably put some more settlements in some places and some roads too.
And got a 404 Error. You're sure about the addresses?
The links that you posted above are not the same that I put on the 1st post before I replied your last mensage. The links are on the 1s post. The function right for me. I have just checked. I will copy here (both on these links open).
Graphically speaking, I love the map itself. You just found the right mix between putting too many symbols and not enough. It will be a big source of inspiration for my own maps. I'm however not a big fan of the Reino de Castra and Nyeda shields.
In terms of background however, this map looks like being an addition of kingdoms with completely different backgrounds. They seem to me to be too close to each other to have so different backgrounds. But that is a very subjective opinion.

I also dont like on the shield of Nyenda, but I needed something that inspired the "union" of a lot of small kings and I was begning to be low on new symbols!
You right that the regions they are a little "too close togheter", but in my defense I have 2 things: 1) This map is for a steriotipal fantasy game and reality was not on the top of my priorites when I did the map. My intention was only that it feels not impropable. 2) The area of the continet is not small, so the diferent regions/cultures are not SO close togheter if you look the scale.
I am really happy that you liked some of the featues of the map . Thank you very much for viewing it and by giving me your impressions.
EDIT: Oh! And can you tell what you did not like on the shileds that you mentioned? The symbols, colour, arangement?
Added to the first post the most recent version of the map (2.3) and a collection of the shields (1.0).
Do you guys have suggestions for any final imporvements? I will print it in a 2m x 1m poster, is the resolution enought (9000 x 4500)? Do you know how I can simulate how it will looks like in terns of resolution before printing?
Posted By: Henrie61One day I hope I can make a map like this. Just stunning.
You for the kind words. It took me a lot of work to come with this version and a lot of try and error. I also could not had made it without the help from the guys of this forum.
Only to reforce. The current versions are on the links added bellow "EDIT: 03/09".
This is an awesome map. Usually there is one or two thing I particularly like about a map, but with this one I like all aspects. It's just a good looking map. Your skills make me jealous JSM

Regarding the two shields, they seem just too overloaded for me.

One question, wich region do you guys think I would map now? What picked your attention the most?
EDIT: Now the right archive is there.

Or maybe the islands of Cidades Independentes Do Sul

I think you could increase the fade on terrain types a bit, the transition looks very sudden.
