Dots for cities on the map

Hi all.

I feel like this is such a silly, trivial question. In CC3 how do you make dots of varying sizes and dots within circles for cities, towns, capital cities, etc?

Thank you very much to the community for any assistance.

Simplest is just to use the Circle image tool. Just make sure the current fill style is set to solid, and the current color to something appropriate. You may wish to check the sheet and layer as well. To create a hollow circle, set the current width to any value greater than zero (But obviously less than the diameter of your circle).

If you need to create these markers often, simply define them as symbols.

There are some symbols like this in various symbol catalogs too, based on what products and annuals you own, but I couldn't find any in the base CC3 set (Although #Symbols\Maps\Other\Geometry.fsc might be interesting). There are also some in the Modern Political annual issue.
