Brighton - Regional Map

I'm starting a new campaign and thought I'd share the map for critique and input.
I've decided that this time around, rather than starting from a continent or world view, I'd begin with a small region. The map represents the area the players are from and is only 100 x 80 miles. As they explore farther afield I will expand the map in 100 x 80 mile segments. Just like the players, I have no idea yet what lies beyond their quiet little villages. With nothing preplanned, who knows what shape the world will take.

I'd love to know how your world turns out as you map the rest. Sounds like an interesting philosophy to try.
Monsen, I'll certainly update this as I go along. I know that over time I'll be creating a few symbols of my own, so will share those as well an the cities and dungeons to go along with this map.
So many maps to make, so little time.
What great work... I like the crossroad effect at Midpointe Inn (is that grassy area and tree a sheet on top of the roads sheet?) Brilliant idea that you came up with to show a ferry crossing and I like the ruin tucked away in the woods. The only "critique" I would make would be for the roads leaving Meldrion:
I'd tuck the one that leads to Windham Monastary behind that hill a little more, maybe completely (poor ASCII example follows) ==/\==
and the one that leads to Torman's Tower, I'd end it at the "base" of the hill and not the tower.
I like the green hills.
