Are the files in the FT upgrade supposed to be this old?

I downloaded the Fractal Terrains update last night; while looking for the setup file, I noticed that all of the files in the folder were really old. Some of them were about 10 years old, and I think the newest one I saw was from around 2006 (I don't have it with me at work, but I think that's accurate). I ended up not running it, because I don't want to accidentally downgrade it.

Does anyone know what's up with this?

Which FT are you trying to update? FT Pro or FT 3? If FT 3, it is just a single executable files, so you shouldn't need to "look for the setup file" as you say. In other words, if you are updating FT3, you do not have the correct files.

I wasn't aware there was a difference, but the download link from my product page says FT Pro... is this an older version of the software? I had received an email from ProFantasy mentioning the patch along with some other stuff, so maybe I don't even qualify for the patch.

If it is older, what is the difference, and is it worth upgrading?

I think I just answered my own question... there is also a link to upgrade from FT Pro to FT3.
