I'm looking to print out a map with dimensions of 30x32 inch. The scale of the map is 1 inch equals 1 inch. Its for a board game. The problem I'm having is getting the hex grid right. I need each hex to be 2" across but CC3 does not accept 2". I'm either getting thousands of little hexes or hexes larger than 2" across. At 30x32 inches it should be 15 hexes x16 hexes in dimension.

As for your hex grid, I believe the grid dialog needs the input in map units. What is the map unit set up for the map. If you are mapping in inches, the best would be if it is set up to use inches, but if not, you can just calculate the value. If your drawing unit is set up in feet, then 2 inches = 2/12 feet = 1/6 = 0.16667
Note that it is important to use the correct measurements, so before trying to draw a grid in inches, make sure your map really is in inches. If you started with a regular map from the new map wizard and typed in 30 x 32 for the map dimensions, your map is definately NOT in inches unless you rescaled it afterward, as there are no CC3 template that creates maps in inches. The point is, it is important to know what map units you actually work in, not what you intend it to be. No matter what units your map is in though you can always print it to whatever scale you need.
