Making Hills, Plateaus, Etc., with DD3
I'm making my first DD3 dungeon, and the entrance area is a transition from a wilderness area to a temple. The indoor stuff seems pretty easy so far, but the video tutorials don't seem to cover much as far as the exterior goes. I want it to be a path which is between some cliffs, so think of a less extreme version of the Grand Canyon... there need to be different levels of elevation, and it would be great if the plateaus had some topographic cues. Any hints?

Ralf... I do have Symbol Set 2, I'll have to check that out.
Thanks to the both of you!
How you do your maps is up to you.

So overland symbols ni a dungeon would be huge, dungeon symbols on an overland map would be small to tiny.
You can resize them. Select a symbol, right click. On the popup, change the scale size of that symbol.
All symbols will stay that size until you change it on that map.
Many thanks,
