Picture as background in Cosmo 3

Hi, i just bought CC3 and Cosmo 3 to design the Interior of some Starships for our next Star Wars Campaign. I watched the tutorials and searched the forum but found no answer for the this question. Is it possible to use a picture of a ship as backgroundimage to draw the interior upon it?

  • Sure, just import the picture.

Put it on the Background sheet and on a layer by itself.

That way, when you don't need it anymore, you can easily delete it.

Put it in there by using the Insert menu item on the Draw Menu upper part of CC3.

First corner should be at the upper right. Click there.

Hold down the ctrl key ( to allow distortion) and move the mouse to the lower left. Click when you get it where you want it.

Use the other layers and sheets to draw the spaceship.
  • Thanks for the help, worked perfect!

I'm now struggeling with curved Bulkheads. I already found the Arc-Tool but i see no way to use ist with the Bulkheads.
  • You're welcome. I don't use arcs much, so someone else will ahve to help with that problem.
