Hello Hive Mind. I am a new user of ProFantasy progrmans and a new enthusiastic in mapping. I bought CC# and some add-ons and get they runnig with no problems, but I am having some problems with Fractal Terrains Pro. Where do I put the "Terrain Data" folder that is avaiable to download togheter with the programs? The "Terraformer Package v0.50" is also a little problem but at least it comes with a pdf that explain things. In this regard (Terraformer) the only thing that I have to do is copy the archives inside the folder "T050_Lgt" to the folder "oloring" on FT right? All the rest I can let in the folder of Terraformer and navigate to is as needed right?
Thanks in advance

My version is already 2.3
Ok - yeah - to install the .lgt files in Terraformer you just select them all and copy them to the FT PRO "Coloring" folder. That's all there is to it, and that's the only part of the package that has to be directly placed into your FT PRO program folders - the rest can just stay on your desktop - and yes - you just navigate to what you need. The Terrain Data folder can also go onto your desktop or anywhere that you want it to - just make sure that if you are creating a world based on the ETOPO or MOLA data that you can navigate to the folder when you are prompted to by FT PRO when starting a new world.
Also - I need to know which manual your referring to - the Terraformer, or the FT PRO manual when you speak about the "ADVANCED" button that you are trying to access. Give me a page number so that I can synch up with what your trying to do and give you some intell on that. I'm getting older - and thus - developing yucky brown ooze over my brain matter, so my memory isn't quite what it used to be, lol, but I don't recall unit value conversion being covered in the Terraformer Manual.
OK look at the graphic below, Go to your FT PRO help menu - then index - then type in "ADVANCED", from there you should see that only two subjects are covered by that term. According to what I can percieve - the original FT1 advanced dialogue box was replaced.
There isn't any toturial for FT Pro? At least one that dont require me to use Photo Shop and/or Wilbur? I think that I understand the basic of the program, but I am having a hard time with the "Tools"... I cant find how to granulate the effects and the tools by thenself are not very intuitive in how to use.
