Ok, just thought I'de yap some more about the symbols thing I'm doing. It's coming along splendidly. I have - however - discovered that drawing too many plants without doing a detour and doing something else for a while can cause mild dementia, lol
So far I think that I've covered almost every common form of crop related item there is, and the only thing that I have to do for my "livestock section" is to create an icon for "Donkeys". I already did one for mules - but I don't consider that to be technically a donkey (man - I really need to get out and get some air, lol).
Also - I never could've imagined how involved it could be to graphically attempt to capture the esoteric ambience of lettuce, lol. I used the same icon for lettuce AND spinach - I just colored them differently, because lettuce and spinach roughly looks the same anyway - one is just a lot darker in color than the other one. Doing one topic repetitively - namely food icons - can really wear pretty thin on your Attention Deficit Disorder, lol.
Anyway - I am now looking into Medieval Spices. My current reference of choice is the Medieval Spices section of Medieval Cookery .com
( http://www.medievalcookery.com/spices.html ) . I had no idea that medieval folks used so many spices...I just thought that generally they ate roadkill and weeds, lol .
Throw some suggestions at me concerning maybe some stuff that I could cover in the project kids - I'm game for ideas.

I want to cover as much topical area with the crop icons as possible - but I don't want the whole package to turn out to be 90% food related - otherwise, it's going to be more useful as clipart for recipe writers and dieticians than gamers and artists, lol.
Also - I apologize for the demented, poor qaulity doodle - it was just all getting to me a little too much, and I sorta flipped my cookies a tad. Had a tiny little psychotic episode, no biggy - I recovered nicely, lol .
Frankincense and Myrrh are hard words to spell dude! Lol.
"QUICK - SPELL "SUPERCALIFRADULISTICEXBEALIDOCIOUS"! Hmmm... Is that middle part "FRADULISTIC" - or - "FRAGILISTIC"? Lol
