CC3 symbols aren't going where I put them?

Mapping with ProFantasy's Software
When I put in mountains, they don't drop right where I tell them to. Consequently, I end up with mountains on top of eachother! Help, please?

With out further info, I would say that snap might be on.

Thank you for the answer, I will see what I can do and try to give more info if I can't figure it out after I turn snap off (if it is on, I'm not sure). Thanks!

Lower right of CC3, you will see a SNAP button. If it is depressed, snap is on.
