I looked at a number of the FR maps. Town and city maps don't match my style, so those will definately get redone.
I'll do like I did with Quasqueton, TSR's B1 module. Place a dungeon, make sure the nearby towns have the same/similar shops, and the town distances from the dungeon, etc. i.e. I'll keep the flavor, but make extensive changes.
western part of one of the new northern hemisphere continents. One city, lots of towns and villages. A few castles, lots of lonely towers.
I'm not sure yet where I'll put any rivers. I'm thinking about placing some small lakes here and there.
quote from my site:
An interesting place. Evil and Good live here. They even great each other politlely as they travel around the city.
Where are the Neutrals ?
None live here.
They once lived here, but they all moved, or died.
Population is 12,000 people.
Mostly humans, with a few half-elves.
The rest stay far away.
Locations 1) Gel-Kah, the only city 2) Storm Point, not a pleasant place 3) Tellesh Castle 4) Bar-Lo Castle 5) Azure Castle 6) Azure-Tel, an ancient burial ground. Some King in the past tried to add a mound. The procession was blocked by cliffs thousands of feet high, that hadn't been there before. Anyone tending the mounds is not blocked. 7) Zor-Kel, a lonely megalith 8) Dor-Lo Castle 9) Guardian Castle, provides guards for the wheat fields 10) Lonesome Castle, named after the hills 11) Tor-Lo Castle 12) Darana-Lo Castle 13) Lone Town 14) horse raising farms 15) cattle raising farms, a sturdy wolly creature 16) wheat fields 17) ruins 18) ship eater coast, tall cliffs. Dukes, barons, and Kings in the past tried cutting paths down to the water so wrecked ship crews could get ashore. Such paths disappeared over night. None have tried since. 19) Ghost Castle, a broken castle, and three abandoned villages. 20) Bow Castle, lots of archers live here.
something i noticed on the main map, of the northern hemisphere, is that it is 24000 miles across by 12000 miles tall... if the southern hemisphere is the same size, that will make the planet an ovoid, tall and skinny, as opposed to a sphere... not a problem if that's what you're going for, but i thought i'd point it out...
it looks good overall, you have certainly taken lots of time and effort with these.
an update on Sharn and surrounding islands. No blur on this one. Just kinda blurry due to the 25 percent reduction in resolution. The font is courier new. I'll change it once the map is done.
Hmm... The Northern hemisphere and the two part southern hemisphere, or the one part southern hemisphere... seems like the continents are rather large. I really want a large ocean between the two southern areas in the add-on and old southern continent area.
I thought about making a new planet... 50 thousand miles in circumferance, instead of 25 thousand and just add it all in. The thought gives me a headache.
So, I am deciding what to do with all of the above... but I may make it a set of 'hemispheres' with Gates connecting them. That sounds easier, I think.
What I really need to do is add in non-player characters, populate the large number of villages, towns, cities, etc.
Well, I'll let you folks know what I decide. Probably keep working on the pieces until I decide.

Took a bit to get it to work on Vista Home Premium. Compatility with WinXP and disable anti-virus. Hmm... And installed CC2 to C:\CC2.
Just doing the Compatibility didn't work.
Copied the FR symbols over to CC3\Maps
Maybe I'll be able to work some on this... but I was more thinking of making some Space: 1889 maps.
