connecting symbols, Perspectives question

I found some photos of an ancient site online.

Turning those into Perspectives connecting symbols would be great for some ancient ruins I want to add to my Crestar site.

Any simple instructions, for my simple mind, to follow on how to do this ?

Is it possible to make connecting symbols in perspectives at all? Perspective symbols can't be rotated (Well, they can, but it makes them look stupid), so it would make some problems for connecting symbols. Maybe by creating a macro, but I don't believe it is trivial.

Or symbols that work together. i want to use the photos to make my on ruins. Basically, symbols that stack or work together side by side.

Are you trying to use the photos directly to create png symbols from the photos, or are you just trying to draw new vector symbols inspired by those photos?

Vector based symbols using the photos as guides. Like I did for the aerial symbols of Drive-in movie theaters I submitted to one of the symbol challenges.

Hi Jim, do you have something like that in mind ?
Those symbols *connect* if you snap them to a regular hexagonal grid detailed to the right.
The pngs you'll use should then conform to the hexagonal shape for an object filling a cube.
ie my cubic symbols use a png of 866x1000, imported to a resolution of 100 to get a 8.66x10 symbol.
You cannot avoid rounding as the cosine of 30° is involved so you might have either gaps (866x1000) or overlaping (867x1000)

Sorry, didn't saw that you wanted vector symbols. In that case, just use the hexagon grid to draw your symbols :
