Deleting?
Hi - relatively new to this - or at least serious mapping, so I may be on here a lot with many questions.
Simple one to start with.
I cannot delete anything....
I have done many times before - but now, I click on the 'rubber pencil' icon and the mouse no longer turns to the little square to select the symbol to be deleted. When I go via the Edit>Erase - it says that CC3 cannot perform the command. What has changed?? Also - when I click on the 'Change Properties' key - to do that - it also doesn't bring up the 'little square' on my mouse that selects these things - and thus is also not working....
What have I done wrong...?
many thanks.

1.
Type SELBYD on the CC3 command line (then hit enter)
2.
Go to Tools ==> Options ==> Select Method ==> Dialog or Popup
Another one quickly - is there a way that CC3 can handle jpegs?? I have half a HD full of jpeg tiles that I want to use...
If you wish to use your existing JPG's, you will need to convert them to PNG files. There are free software out there that will do this for you, like irfanview. I believe it even supports batch conversion.
Have fun mapping.
While making threads sticky is nice, one also has to be careful with that feature. Too many sticky treads, and they become more of a hindrance than help, so unfortunately, I cannot sticky every threat with useful information. I try to link interesting topics to my Interesting, Important and Helpful topics - A Collection topic though, but I won't link stuff that can be found in the FAQ. I'm always on the lookout for good topics to link from there though, so I appreciate suggestions.
