Installation error

Just bought DD3 to try it out and am receiving an error upon installation.

CC3 Update 10 Was unable to install the new files.

The error code is: -11

Any help would be great. Couldn't find any specific info on this error or forums or troubleshooting page.

I have .Net frameworks installed and am running a x64 windows 7 system with latest SP.

DD3 is an add-on for CC3.

If CC3 isn't on your computer, DD3 won't work.

Or did I misunderstand your question ?

Also, make sure you install it as an administrator. In Windows 7, this usually means you need to right click on the installer and select "Run as administrator" no matter who you are logged in as.

Tried to do Admin thing still gave same error on install. I am acutally able to use the program but am not sure if I am getting full functionality or not.

I didn't know I had to buy CC3 to use DD3 either.

I will email Tech support, I just thought it might be a common issue.

The product description says "Dungeon Designer 3 is an add-on to Campaign Cartographer."
and
"System requirements:
A PC with a licensed, working copy of CC3
DVD drive
737MB hard disk space"

You are very right it does say that indeed.

I guess I'll just try for a refund as the only thing I was really interested in was the dungeon creator.
